ドローン大学校のグループ企業である株式会社ドローンラボが、緊急消防援助隊地域ブロック合同訓練におけるドローン運航を担当し、ドローン大学校修了生がパイロットを務めます。この訓練は、大規模災害活動時における緊急消防援助隊の技術及び連携活動能力の向上を目的に、平成8年度から全国を6ブロックに区分して、毎年1回実施されているものです。神奈川県は関東ブロック（茨城県、栃木県、群馬県、埼玉県、千葉県、東京都、神奈川県、山梨県、長野県、静岡県）に所属しており、平成30年度は神奈川県で関東ブロック合同訓練が実施されます。（協力に同社の社名があります）

ドローン大学校が株式会社スカイマティクス社の認定校として”「いろは」認定オペレーター”の民間資格が取得できるカリキュラム”ドローン リモート センシング プログラム”の第1期を静岡県にて開催しました。今回の受講生は、ドローン大学校 修了生･受講生が対象であったが、来年2019年2月以降開催する第2期以降は、同校 修了生･受講生に関わらず、無人航空機による10時間以上の飛行経歴を有する方を対象に広く募る。本講座修了生のなかから、優秀なリモートセンシング パイロットが誕生することでしょう。

東京キャンパス2018年10月度修了式を開催しました。今月も多くの優秀な修了生が誕生し賑やかな修了式となりました。同時開催の特別講義では、株式会社スカイマティクス社の伊達卓馬氏に講師をお願いし、農業分野におけるリモートセンシングの現状〜将来展望、および同社が開発した葉色解析サービス「いろは」について講演いただきました。葉色解析サービス「いろは」は、自律飛行型ドローンで撮影した画像から葉の状態を確認、適切な生育管理によって収穫・品質の向上につながる攻めの農業経営に貢献するアプリケーションとして今後の利活用が期待されており、当校でもこのアプリケーションを教材とした「ドローンリモートセンシングプログラム」をスタートしました。

ドローン大学校 名古屋キャンパス12期が東京キャンパス19期が修了いたしました。今回もそれぞれのキャンパスで大勢の受講生をお迎えすることができました。秋風の季節の講習でしたが、受講生と講師陣が一丸となり、笑いあり、涙ありの充実した講座になりました。修了試験に合格された皆さまは、これでドローンビジネスのスタートラインに立てたわけですから、今後日本のドローンビジネスを牽引するドローンパイロットやドローンビジネスマンに飛躍していただきたいと思います。

株式会社ドローンラボと映像圧縮伝送技術のスペシャリストである天馬諮問株式会社は、災害救急現場での無人航空機（ドローン）による映像伝送の運用に向け、協力して実験を進めている。すでに天馬諮問株式会社が行っている救急車から携帯電話通信回線を利用しカメラ映像や、生体モニター画像をリアルタイムで関連病院へ伝送するシステムにより、災害現場で行われているDMAT（災害派遣医療チーム）が得た情報を災害緊急対策本部等の情報ハブにいち早く的確に伝送することが可能であり、このシステムの起点となる情報収集にドローンに搭載されたカメラを使うことで、医療チームだけではなく、災害・消防などの全スタッフや本部とのリアルタイムな情報共有ができ、効率的な活動が可能になる。ドローン大学校では、すでに消防特別救助隊員に向けたドローンの安全な運航を行うための知識と技術を習得するためのトレーニングの実績もあり、ドローンでの映像圧縮伝送もカリキュラムに含めたいと考えている。
