ドローン大学校講師でもあり、ドローンで鳥獣害対策を行う森山環境科学研究所の研究員である森山誠講師をはじめ、ドローン大学校修了生らが、ドローン総合イベント「ドローン・フェス in INA Valley 2017」（10月18日～21日）の「ドローンによる鹿検知コンペティション」に出場しました。「鹿検知コンペティション」実施の背景には、伊那市において野生鳥獣による農林業被害の中でも特にニホンジカによる被害が大きく、その対応は喫緊の課題となっていることが挙げられ、ドローンの活用によりニホンジカの検知が効率化されることは、全国的な有害鳥獣の被害防止につながるという主旨のもとに開催されました。

The reason behind the implementation of the “Deer Detection Competition” is that sika deer is particularly devastating among wildlife in agriculture and forestry in Ina City, and the response has become an urgent issue. The event was held based on the idea that increasing the efficiency of detection leads to the prevention of damage to harmful birds and beasts nationwide.
