Drone College Alumnus Appointed as a Community Development Cooperation Volunteer in Asahimachi, Yamagata Prefecture, as a Nigiwai Promoter in the Ootani Area

A Drone College graduate was appointed by the mayor of Asahi-machi, Yamagata Prefecture, as a member of the local development cooperation team for the Oya area, which was featured in today’s Yamagata Shimbun.

ご存じの通り2023年12月5日の航空法改正により、ドローン（無人航空機）の国家ライセンス制度がスタートしました。現時点ではの国家ライセンスを取得しなくとも国土交通省航空局からの許可･承認を得れば、レベル３までの運航は可能ですが、レベル４の運航を行うには「一等無人航空機操縦士」の技能証明取得が必須であり、さらに将来的には全てのレベルで国家ライセンスが必須になる可能性もあります。
ドローン大学校の修了生コミュニティであるドローン大学院の院生には、早期に資格取得試験にチャレンジしていただき、お一人でも多くの方が国家ライセンスを取得され、ドローンビジネスに参入されることを心から祈念しています。これまでもドローン大学院では、同様のイベントを２回開催し、すでに多くの院生が一等無人航空機操縦士技能証明学科試験で合格しています。そして今回も14名の方にご参加いただき、全員が一等無人航空機操縦士になられることでしょう。

[Drone College Graduates Only] First Class Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Certificate Overnight Seminar for Classroom and Practical (Desktop and Oral) Examinations @ Hiroshima

As you may know, the Civil Aeronautics Law was revised on December 5, 2023, and a national license system for drones (unmanned aerial vehicles) was started. At present, it is possible to operate a drone up to Level 3 with permission and approval from the Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism without a national license, but to operate a drone at Level 4, it is necessary to obtain a First Class Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Certificate. In the future, national licenses may become mandatory at all levels.
We sincerely hope that graduate students of the Drone Graduate School, a community of graduates of Drone College, will take the certification exam as soon as possible, and we sincerely hope that as many of you as possible will obtain a national license and enter the drone business. In the past, the Drone Graduate School has held similar events twice, and many graduate students have already passed the first-class unmanned aircraft operator skill certification course exam. And with 14 participants this time around, we are confident that all of them will become first class unmanned aircraft pilots.

2月29日（土）から5月2日（火）まで、広島キャンパス21期を予定通り開催しました。ゴールデンウィークに合わせた開講ということで広島だけでなく沖縄在住の方がお二人と全国から多くの受講生さんが集い、皆さん「一等無人航空機操縦士」の国家ライセンス取得に向けて頑張っておられました。

21st Term of Hiroshima Campus Held as Scheduled

The 21st session of the Hiroshima Campus was held as scheduled from February 29 (Sat) to May 2 (Tue). 2023年4月15日（土）〜 2023年4月28日（金）まで、大阪キャンパス10期を開催しました。今回は国土交通省登録講習機関として大阪キャンパス初の一等無人航空機操縦者技能証明書取得講座でした。お陰さまで定員満員の受講生さんにご受講いただき、皆さん全員、一等無人航空機操縦者技能証明書取得を目指し、全力で学科と実地に努力されていました。

The 10th term of Osaka Campus was held.

The 10th session of the Osaka Campus was held from April 15, 2023 (Sat) to April 28, 2023 (Fri). This was the first first-class unmanned aircraft operator certificate course held at the Osaka Campus as a registered training institute of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Thanks to the support of the participants, the course was filled to capacity, and everyone made every effort to study and practice to acquire the First Class Aircraft Pilot’s Certificate of Competence.

2023年3月19日（日）〜 2023年3月30日（木）まで、仙台キャンパス3期を開催しました。今回は国土交通省登録講習機関として仙台キャンパス初の一等無人航空機操縦者技能証明書取得講座でした。受講生さん全員が、一等無人航空機操縦者技能証明書取得を目指し、全力で学科と実地に努力されていました。

The third term of Sendai Campus was held.

The third session of the Sendai Campus was held from Sunday, March 19, 2023 to Thursday, March 30, 2023. This was the first course to acquire the First Class Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Certificate of Competence at the Sendai Campus as a registered training institute of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. All the students made their best efforts in the course and practical training to obtain the First Class Aircraft Pilot Certificate.

2023年4月1日（土）〜 2023年4月13日（木）まで、博多キャンパス17期を開催しました。今回は国土交通省登録講習機関として博多キャンパス初の一等無人航空機操縦者技能証明書取得講座でした。受講生さん全員が、一等無人航空機操縦者技能証明書取得を目指し、全力で学科と実地に努力されていました。

The 17th term of Hakata Campus was held.

The Hakata Campus 17th Course was held from April 1, 2023 (Sat.) to April 13, 2023 (Thu.). This was the first course to be held at the Hakata Campus as a registered training institute of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for the acquisition of the First Class Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Certificate. All the participants made their best efforts in the course and practical training to obtain the First Class Aircraft Pilot’s Certificate of Competence.

2022年10月1日（土）〜 10日（月）まで開講しました、仙台キャンパス2期の修了式を2023年3月30日に開講しました。仙台キャンパス3期の受講生も交えて賑やかな記念撮影をすることができました。

Completion Ceremony Held at Sendai Campus

On March 30, 2023, we held a completion ceremony for the second term of the Sendai Campus program, which ran from October 1 (Sat.) to 10 (Mon.), 2022. A lively commemorative photo was taken with students from the third term at the Sendai Campus.

茨城県境町は人口約2万4000人の小さな町ながら、2020年11月に自動運転バスを実用化し定常運転を開始しました。自動運転バスは、高齢化が進む地方の交通弱者を救済するために有効な手段として期待が高まっていますが、その自動運転バスの遠隔監視を行う株式会社セネックの和歌良幸 取締役副社長（ドローン大学校修了生）より、自動運転バス試乗や2022年11月30日に完成したばかりの新社屋見学の機会をいただきました。
また、元 Apple Store 講師である茅原田 哲郎氏（ドローン大学校修了生）にお願いし、i Phoneなどのスマートフォンを用いた撮影のセミナーも開催して頂き、実習として隈研吾設計施設6箇所等を撮影するミニツアーも開催し、利根川河川敷でのドローン空撮にもチャレンジしました。

Drone College graduates community “Drone Graduate School” held an event “Visit to self-driving bus & Drone Aerial Photography & Smartphone Photography Seminar by former Apple Store lecturer @ Sakaimachi, Ibaraki Prefecture.

Sakaimachi in Ibaraki Prefecture is a small town with a population of about 24,000, but in November 2020, it put an automated bus into practical use and began regular operation. The automated buses are expected to be an effective means of helping the vulnerable in rural areas where the population is aging. The tour included a test-drive of the self-driving bus and a visit to the new company building, which was completed on November 30, 2022.
In addition, Mr. Tetsuro Kayabarada, a former Apple Store lecturer and a Drone Academy alumnus, gave a seminar on photography using smartphones such as the i-phone, and gave a mini-tour of six Kengo Kuma-designed facilities as a practical training session.

2023年3月5日（日）〜 18日（土）まで、東京キャンパス37期を開催しました。今回は国土交通省登録講習機関として一等無人航空機操縦者技能証明書取得講座開講の直前ということで、少ない人数での開講となりましたが、受講された皆さんは全員、一等無人航空機操縦者技能証明書取得を目指し、全力で学科と実地に努力されていました。

The 37th session of the Tokyo Campus was held from March 5 (Sun.) to 18 (Sat.), 2023. The number of participants was small this time because it was just before the opening of the first class unmanned aircraft pilot certificate course as a registered training institute of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, but all participants made every effort to study and practice to obtain the first class unmanned aircraft pilot certificate.

2月19日（日）から 3月4日（土）まで、名古屋キャンパス28期を予定通り開催しました。名古屋だけでなく横浜在住の受講生様も加わり、皆さん「一等無人航空機操縦士」の国家ライセンス取得に向けて頑張っておられました。

28th Nagoya Campus Meeting Held as Scheduled

The 28th session of the Nagoya Campus was held as scheduled from Sunday, February 19 to Saturday, March 4. Students living not only in Nagoya but also in Yokohama joined us, and all of them worked hard to obtain their “First Class Unmanned Aircraft Pilot” national licenses.
